Bournemouth are one of the highest-scoring Premier League teams this season. The Cherries average a league high of 3.21 goals per game and have seen BTTS in nearly 70% of their matches.

Andoni Iraola’s side have seen 14 goals in their last four home matches, with BTTS landing in each fixture. Bournemouth beat Tottenham and Liverpool 3-2 before a 1-1 home stalemate against Aston Villa.

The Dorset club also drew 1-1 against Sunderland at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday. The Cherries had 21 shots, 1.71-1.43 XG and Evanilson equalised after Sunderland’s first-half opener.

Brentford High Scoring Away

Keith Andrews’ Brentford are also among the highest-scoring Premier League sides, netting 84 goals this season. The West Londoners average three goals per game in the 2025/26 campaign.

Brentford have maintained their top-half challenge following a three-match unbeaten run. The Bees beat Aston Villa 1-0 and Newcastle 3-2 and drew 1-1 with Arsenal.

That run ended with a 2-0 home loss to Brighton, where Andrews’ side had 1.6-1.09 XG.

Brentford replied with a 4-3 victory at Burnley. Mikkel Damsgaard, Igor Thiago and Kevin Schade scored in 34 minutes, Burnley pulled three goals back and Damsgaard struck a late winner.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Bournemouth (4-2-3-1): Dorde Petrovic; Alex Jimenez, James Hill, Marco Senesi, Adrien Truffert; Alex Scott, Tyler Adams; Rayan, David Brooks, Marcus Tavernier; Eli Junior Kroupi

Midfielder Lewis Cook, defender Julio Soler and attacking duo Ben Gannon-Doak and Justin Kluivert are injured.

Evanilson sustained a leg injury in the Sunderland draw. Andoni Iraola expects the attacker to return for the Brentford game and said, “It was a dead leg. It was a big knock, and I hope he recovers.

"It is true it is just 2/3 days before Brentford, but it is not an injury, so we will see if he can be available.”

Brentford (4-2-3-1): Caoimhin Kelleher; Michael Kayode, Kristoffer Ajer, Sepp van den Berg, Rico Henry; Yehor Yarmolyuk, Jordan Henderson; Dango Ouattara, Mikkel Damsgaard, Kevin Schade; Igor Thiago

Goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher is likely to return after missing the Burnley match due to personal issues.

Defender Aaron Hickey is doubtful with a knock. Midfielders Vitaly Janelt and Josh Dasilva, defender Antoni Milambo and forward Fabio Carvalho are injured.

Verdict

Bournemouth v Brentford

Bournemouth score and concede in most of their matches at the Vitality Stadium and Brentford have seen loads of away goals. Stick with BTTS and over 2.5 goals in this Premier League match.
