Fulham in Form at Craven Cottage

Marco Silva’s Fulham are one of the most in-form home teams in the Premier League. They are unbeaten in five of their last six at Craven Cottage, winning four.

The West London outfit started a three-match winning run with victories at Stoke 2-1 and Sunderland 3-1. Fulham had 29 shots and over 1.57 XG in these matches.

The Cottagers continued their upturn in form with a 2-1 home triumph against Tottenham. Harry Wilson and Alex Iwobi scored in the first half and Fulham dominated with 2.28-0.88 XG.

West Ham Lacking Form on the Road

West Ham have struggled away all season, winning just three of their 16 fixtures in all competitions. The Hammers are winless in three of their last four away, including two league defeats.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side lost 3-2 at Chelsea, having just 29% possession and allowing 2.7 XG. A 2-0 win at Burnley followed before a 0-0 FA Cup draw at League One Burton.

The Hammers’ away troubles rumbled on with a heavy 5-2 loss at Liverpool on Saturday. West Ham faced 18 shots, were 3-0 down after 42 minutes and Tomas Soucek and Taty Castellanos scored in the second half.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Fulham (4-2-3-1): Bernd Leno; Kenny Tete, Issa Diop, Calvin Bassey, Ryan Sessegnon; Alex Iwobi, Sander Berge; Oscar Bobb, Emile Smith Rowe, Samuel Chukwueze; Raul Jimenez

Forward Kevin is ruled out with an ankle injury. Defender Joachim Andersen and Sasa Lukic are injury doubts.

Harry Wilson was subbed off against Tottenham with a foot injury. Marco Silva was cautious about the winger’s availability for the West Ham game and said, “Wilson said at half time [that] he might need to be taken off.

“We waited a bit, but he got a knock. He twisted his ankle. Let’s see how he is in the next few days.”

West Ham (4-4-1-1): Mads Hermansen; Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Axel Disasi, El Hadji Malick Diouf; Jarrod Bowen, Soungoutou Magassa, Tomas Soucek, Crysencio Summerville; Mateus Fernandes; Taty Castellanos

Midfielder Freddie Potts is suspended and won’t feature.

Attacking midfielder Pablo is unavailable due to a calf problem. Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is also sidelined with a lower back injury.

Verdict

Fulham are a strong side and often control games at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers look confident and can beat a West Ham side looking shaky on the road.
