The last two performances were bad though, first losing against current table leaders Norrkoping 2-0 mid-month, while suffering another defeat last weekend to 4th placed Landskrona 3-2 due to poor defending (allowed 9 shots on target). 

Osters Bounced Back Under New Manager 


Poor results in the opening nine rounds urged for changes, Osters appointing Daniel Friberg as the new head manager in late May which turned out to be a great move. 

They claimed nine points from the last three Superettan contests and moved up to 7th place, just a couple of points short of the playoff zone. 

Osters registered three straight victories against Norrby 2-1, Varnamo 3-0 and Sundsvall 4-0 before finally going down against Falkenberg 3-1 last weekend. Linus Carlstand played key role here, netting six goals across these matches.
