The Eagles are dealing with a bunch of injuries and are playing just one week after the long trip to London, which ended in a dramatic defeat that extended their losing skid.

The Panthers, on the other hand, are well rested after a good win over Detroit last time out.

Carolina Panthers Split First Four Games

Carolina return from the bye week with a 2-2 record, looking to register back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

The Panthers offense produced a season-best performance on opening day, but that was not enough to prevent them from falling to defeat as they lost 59-37 to Chicago.

They rebounded a week later, and they did it in impressive fashion as they went out on the road to blow out division rivals Atlanta, 34-3.

Carolina failed to follow that up a week later, as they were beaten 21-18 by the Browns in Cleveland.

The Panthers did issue an immediate response though, as they got back on track with a 32-26 victory over Detroit at home.

Philadelphia Eagles On 3-Game Losing Run

Philadelphia return home in desperate need of a victory, having lost three straight games to fall to 2-3.

The Eagles kicked off their campaign with a home win against a division rival, beating Washington 24-22, and backed that up a week later with a 24-30 victory in Tennessee.

They have not won since though, as a 27-7 defeat in Chicago on Monday Night Football proved to be the start of a three-game skid.

Philadelphia returned home for a 24-20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, but looked set to bounce back from that when they took a late lead over Jacksonville in London.

However, in the final seconds the Eagles gave up a huge kick return and field goal, condemning them to a 19-17 defeat.

Philadelphia have home advantage, but this is a team in crisis after giving up a lead in the final seconds of last week’s game in London.
