Louisville Kings Lost UFL Debut

Louisville head out on the road for the first time still seeking a first win in the United Football League.

The Kings – who joined the league in the offseason – were handed a tough UFL debut in the form of a meeting with Birmingham.

The Stallions have won spring titles in three of the four previous seasons, and came into the new campaign as a favourite to lift the championship trophy in 2026.

Louisville pushed them to the limit and led 13-9 late in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to hold on as they gave up a late touchdown to fall 15-13.

Orlando Storm Won UFL Debut

Orlando go into this matchup looking to follow up their debut victory and take their record to 2-0.

The Storm were one of three teams to join the UFL in the offseason, and made headlines with the appointment of St Louis Battlehawks head coach Anthony Becht.

The arrival of Becht gave the Florida franchise immediate credibility, and they got off to an ideal start last weekend.

Orlando marked their debut with a 23-16 victory over another league newcomer, Columbus.

Verdict

Orlando made a solid start to their UFL campaign and we expect to see further improvement as they gel.

The Storm won by seven a week ago and can cover again against a Kings team that is heading out on the road for the first time in their history.
