The Utes came out on top in that matchup too, as they maintained their 100% record with a 21-13 victory over the Cougars.
Cincinnati Ended Two-Game Slump
Cincinnati enter this matchup having snapped their recent two-game losing skid to improve to 5-2.
The Bearcats also kicked off the campaign with three consecutive non-conference wins, beating Boston College 34-15, Western Carolina and Miami OH 35-31.
They then opened their Big 12 slate with a 31-26 victory when they played host to Kansas State.
Cincinnati failed to follow that up though, as they were beaten 42-7 in Arizona and 45-42 at West Virginia.
The Bearcats avoided a third straight loss though, as they upset top-10 Texas Tech in a 37-24 victory last weekend.
