Brazil’s dominant performance in this season’s Nations League – with just a single loss – puts them on track for a comfortable win against a struggling Thailand team. Given their form and consistency, Brazil are unlikely to face significant resistance in their upcoming match. Observers widely expect Brazil to continue their winning streak with minimal difficulty.

Match Preview

All signs are pointing at a one-sided clash here. Brazil have won their last three head-to-head meetings against Thailand without dropping a single set and currently hold an impressive record in the Nations League.

Thailand Trying to Avoid Relegation

Thailand have been one of the weakest teams in the 2026 Nations League so far, securing just two wins from ten matches and still facing the possibility of relegation.

Both of those victories came during Week 2 against Bulgaria (3-0) and Canada (3-1), before they wrapped up that stage with a straight-sets defeat to the Netherlands.

On Wednesday, Thailand were completely outclassed by the United States, losing 3-0 while managing just 59 total points across the three sets. They produced a slightly better display on Thursday but still fell 3-1 to Japan.

Brazil Closing In on Top Spot

Brazil, last year's Nations League runners-up, have once again established themselves among the strongest teams in the competition. They enter this clash top of the standings with an outstanding 9-1 record.

The South Americans opened Week 2 with victories over France (3-0), Belgium (3-2) and China (3-1), before suffering a surprise 3-2 defeat to Germany.

They responded perfectly at the start of Week 3 by defeating Japan 3-1 in a high-quality contest to strengthen their grip on first place, then followed it up with another 3-1 victory over fellow final tournament contender Poland on Friday.

Verdict

Brazil have dropped just one match in this entire Nations League season, so I don’t expect them to face any problems against struggling Thailand.
