Iceland were one of the biggest surprise packages in the first qualifying stage, where everyone expected them to finish last, but they won three games, just enough to advance.
The most impressive performance came in the first round, beating Italy 81-76 on the road, while the deciding victory was earned in round number six against Great Britain, winning 88-86 in quite dramatic fashion.
Guards Elvar Fridriksson, Martin Hermannsson and Jon Axel Gudmundsson are the biggest difference-makers, always forcing a fast tempo and usually playing at a high number of possessions.
