Juventus caused a massive upset in the quarterfinals by eliminating 2nd-placed Rytas, opening the series with a 92-84 home victory before completing the job on the road with a 101-95 win thanks to excellent shooting percentages.
A similar scenario unfolded in the semifinals, where they once again embraced the underdog role and eliminated Neptunas in just four games to book their place in the finals.
