Rake levels will vary according to stake, number of players at the table and their actions, with redistribution calculated according to whether individuals are new or experienced players and whether they generate action or contribute to engagement by, for example, starting new tables or playing in short-handed or tough games. Fulfilling these conditions results in a higher percentage of rake reallocation.
WPT Global Tournaments
The WPT has long been a trailblazer in the world of top-level tournament poker, and its flagship live events award titles coveted by professionals and amateurs alike. WPT Global provides a path to potential glory for players online, with exclusive satellites to some of the most well-known live tournaments in the world.
In the purely online arena, WPT Global offers a range of multi-table tournaments with structures ranging from Slow to Hyper-Turbo. The quicker formats (available full ring, or short-handed) allow players to experience the full “story” of a tournament from start to finish, without the lengthy time commitment. Tournaments available daily at the $2, $11, $25 $55, and $109 buy-in levels include:
- Short Deck
- Pot limit Omaha (PLO)
- No limit hold’em
Bounty Hunter (KO) and Progressive Bounties (PKO) tournaments are especially popular – part of the buy-in is placed as a bounty on each player’s head. In Progressive Bounty tournaments, a portion of the bounty on eliminated players is added to that of the player who busts them, so the late stages involve some big prizes independent from the finishing place prize money. There are Bounty MTTs in all game types at a variety of buy-in levels running throughout the day.
Deepstack tournaments include three daily $109 Deepstacks (one with a regular structure, one Turbo and one Hyper Turbo) and a $25 Deepstack Turbo with $2,000 guaranteed. Running alongside them are daily freerolls, plus special Sunday and high-roller events, like the daily $550 Deepstack Turbo (to which there are two daily satellites).
The ¥550 Golden Weekly Tournament runs flights throughout the week to suit all time zones, bringing together a global field to play for a guaranteed prize pool of ¥688k (over $100,000). Satellites are available daily for either a $25 or $55 buy-in.
