LOS and T1 are set to clash for the first time this year in the opening round of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship on October 23. While T1 has struggled with inconsistency and weak performances in the LCK, their roster remains experienced and capable. LOS, despite a strong domestic season in Brazil and international experience, are widely considered underdogs given the competition level. The article concludes that, despite T1's flaws, their quality and experience should secure them victory against LOS.

LOS vs T1 Betting Predictions

LOS and T1 will face off in the first round of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship on Friday, October 23, marking their first meeting of the year.

T1 haven’t had the best season and were clearly below the other two LoL Champions Korea (LCK) representatives in Gen.G and Hanwha Life Esports.

They have been inconsistent, struggling in the mid-to-late game, and sometimes T1 did not look to be on the same page either.

Even with all that in mind, this is still a very stacked and experienced roster, who have had plenty of time to fix their problems, and will be expected to handle LOS – who are a strong and fun team, but hail from a much weaker region.

  • T1 have had their wrinkles this season
  • LOS can be dangerous, but lack quality
  • T1 should be expected to win

LOS Can Be Dangerous

LOS are a strong team from the Brazilian league, and a fun team to watch. They have had a solid season, keeping up the pace with FURIA, and establishing themselves as one of the better Brazilian LoL teams in a while.

The roster includes known players with past international experience, so it is not beyond the realm of possibility for LOS to do some damage on the big stage and stun stronger teams. However, we have to tame our expectations with LOS, who, while a solid roster, are still miles below the tournament’s main title contenders.

LOS Squad & Team News

  • Kim "Zest" Dong-min – top lane

  • Wallyson "Duduhh" Silva – ADC

T1 Need to Improve

T1 have looked terrible this season, at least relative to the expectations. They struggled during the summer split, despite Faker showing strong form, and most of their struggles stemmed from poor transitions from early to mid game. Drafts have not been all that great either.

This has not been the best season for T1, who have looked very inconsistent. But as with any year before, you can’t count out T1 at LoL Worlds, especially with the players they have.

Until proven otherwise, it is fair to doubt T1. However, they’ve had plenty of time to fix their problems and step it up on the big stage.

T1 Squad & Team News

No changes for T1.

  • Choi "Doran" Hyeon-jun – top lane
  • Mun "Oner" Hyeon-jun – jungle
  • Lee "Faker" Sang-hyeok – mid lane
  • Kim "Peyz" Soo-hwan – ADC
  • Ryu "Keria" Min-seok – support

Verdict

T1 have had their issues this season and have looked anything but good. However, that does not take away from their ceiling, experience, individual talent, and the fact that T1 usually step it up at LoL Worlds.

If T1 look as bad as they did in LCK Summer, LOS could do some damage. But that’s a major “WHAT IF”, as there is a clear quality gap between the two squads, which will not be easy to overcome.
