Balkan Botevgrad have struggled in the EuroCup so far this season, sitting at the bottom of Group D after losing all three games.

They stood no chance in their opening two encounters, first losing 98-84 to Ulm in Germany before being demolished 101-60 by Bahcesehir Koleji in front of their home crowd.

The Bulgarian side came close to upsetting BC Roma last week in Italy, forcing overtime but ultimately losing 77-72 after scoring just three points in the five-minute period. Aleksandar Stoimenov was their top performer with 16 points.

Lietkabelis Battling Inconsistency

Lietkabelis almost squandered a big lead in their EuroCup opener against KK Bosna Sarajevo at home earlier this month, eventually securing a narrow 75-72 victory. They offered solid resistance in the second round but lost 92-87 to BC Roma in Italy.

The Lithuanian side caused a major upset last week by beating PAOK 95-86 at home. Their shooting numbers were fantastic, converting 36 of 58 field-goal attempts, with Alex Schumacher leading the way with 23 points.

Their domestic results have been mixed in October. They started the month with back-to-back defeats against Zalgiris Kaunas 97-68 and Jonava 71-65 but returned to winning ways last weekend with a narrow 73-72 victory at Nevezis.
