Rostock's Form is Far From Ideal

Rostock have made a rough start to the new EuroCup campaign, claiming just one victory in three rounds and sitting near the bottom of Group A.

After being thrashed 94-73 by Hapoel Jerusalem in the opener, the German side edged out underdogs Rigas Zelli 87-86 in front of their home crowd. Owen Klassen delivered a fantastic performance with 14 points and 12 rebounds, converting all six of his field-goal attempts.

They endured a terrible first half last week in France, trailing favored Le Mans by 17 points at halftime before suffering an 82-70 defeat. Rostock's shooting was disastrous at 33%, as they converted just 26 of 77 field-goal attempts.

Aris Dominating the EuroCup

Aris have been impressive this season, opening their EuroCup campaign with three victories in three rounds and currently leading the Group A standings alongside Hapoel Jerusalem.

The Thessaloniki side defeated two playoff contenders in their opening two matches, beating Le Mans 87-74 in France before claiming a 93-80 home victory against Spanish side San Pablo Burgos.

They made it three wins in a row last week, cruising past Tortona 88-68 in front of their home crowd while allowing just 24 points in the second half. Matt Morgan was named man of the match, finishing with 23 points, four rebounds and three assists.

Aris are also performing well domestically, winning their last two Basket League contests against AEK Athens 88-58 and Marousi 74-57.
