Florida A&M at Miami FL Betting Tips – Canes To Make Light Work Of FAMU In College Football
The Miami Hurricanes head into their home opener against Florida A&M riding high from a statement win over Stanford. With a current 6-game streak against the spread, Miami looks to outclass Florida A&M, who split their first two games and struggled offensively last week. Star QB Darian Mensah and WR Malachi Toney are in great form, reinforcing Miami as heavy favorites. The article advises bettors to back the Hurricanes to cover the spread as they seek another dominant performance.

Florida A&M Split First Two Games
Florida A&M head to the Hard Rock Stadium having split their first two games of the 2026 season.
The Rattlers kicked off the campaign in Week 0, and enjoyed a successful start as they downed Albany State, 20-7.
They failed to follow that up last week though, as they suffered a 31-13 defeat to South Carolina Bulldogs at this venue.
Quarterback Isaiah Knowles was just 7/22 for 94 yards, while Jamal Hailey managed only 13 yards off 11 carries.
Miami FL Aim To Build On Dominant Opening Win
Miami made a flying start to the 2026 season as they dominated conference rivals Stanford in a road win in Week 1.
The Hurricanes, who lost in last season’s national championship, made their longest trip on the schedule to kick things off, and they made a splash at the expense of the Cardinal.
New quarterback Darian Mensah showcased his Heisman Trophy credentials with an almost flawless game, completing 27 of his 30 passes for 401 yards and five touchdowns in less than three full quarterbacks.
He was not the only one to stake his claim – star wide receiver Malachi Toney smashed a school single game record as he amassed 234 yards receiving and three touchdowns before he, like many other starters, were pulled from the game.
All of that helped Miami run out 45-6 winners over Stanford, sending them into their home opener at 1-0.
Verdict
The number is huge, but so it should be after Miami’s blowout win at Stanford.
This Florida A&M team is even weaker than that Cardinal group, so 60 minutes of dominance from the Canes – both with the starters and then the backups in – is likely to result in a successful spread bet.
