Washington enter the new season looking to bounce back from a miserable 2025 campaign that saw them win just five games.

The Commanders had gone into that season with high hopes following a run to the 2024 NFC Championship Game, but their playoff quest never truly got started.

They won just three of their first 11 games and went on an eight-game losing skid between mid-October and early December.

Washington did win a couple of road games against division rivals late on, but that was nothing more than mere consolation.

The Commanders go into their 2026 season opener having gone 1-2 in pre-season, beating Miami 20-7 before losing 17-13 in Detroit and 41-3 at Baltimore.

Philadelphia Eagles Seeking Deep Playoff Run

Philadelphia are once again targeting the Super Bowl as they look to rebound from a disappointing end to the last campaign.

The Eagles had a couple of rough patches during the regular season, but that did not prevent them from finishing top of the NFC East with a 12-5 record.

However, they were one-and-done in the postseason, as they lost 23-19 at home to San Francisco in the Wild Card round.

Philadelphia enter the new campaign having lost all three of their games during pre-season.

The Eagles lost back-to-back games on the road, 24-7 in Baltimore and 24-21 at New England, before falling to a 30-13 defeat at home to Cincinnati.
