T1 vs FURIA Betting Tips – T1 Are Gigantic Favourites to Defeat FURIA
T1 face FURIA in the lower bracket of the League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational 2026, in what is considered the tournament’s biggest mismatch. T1 remain strong favorites thanks to their superior players and macro gameplay, despite recent setbacks. FURIA have shown some promise in teamfighting and late-game stability, but lack early game impact and overall consistency. Most experts predict a swift 3-0 win for T1, but those seeking value might consider FURIA stealing a map if they opt for an aggressive strategy.

This is arguably the biggest mismatch of the tournament, depending on how much faith you have in T1. Despite their loss to Bilibili Gaming in the upper bracket, T1 should be viewed as gigantic favourites to handle FURIA, fielding better individual players and boasting a much better macro sense.

T1 Can’t Afford Any More Slip-Ups
After a perfect run through the Play-ins, T1 slipped against Bilibili Gaming in the first round of the MSI 2026 bracket stage. The series delivered as a highly exciting affair, granted, most of the maps were very one-sided.
T1 showed a lot of fight and exposed Bilibili Gaming’s weaknesses – questionable macro game. The issue T1 had to deal with was their inability to accumulate big leads early, and were put in positions where they had to fight from behind.
The game also exposed T1 for their issues, which, interestingly enough, is an iffy early game. While T1 are capable of gaining early leads, they are not as efficient at doing it. They also opted for some questionable drafts, which played a big role in BLG’s success.
Despite the loss, T1 should be heavily favoured for this match. They are a significantly better macro team and have much better individual players. Admittedly, they’re not great at blowing open early games, which could be a slight issue. But the raw quality is expected to prevail.

FURIA With a Mountain to Climb
FURIA really are up against a tough team here, following their painful loss to LYON in the first round of the bracket stage. FURIA arguably should’ve won at least one map, but their draft made executing the game plan difficult.
Despite the loss, FURIA have shown some good things. They’re great at teamfighting and are a stable mid-late game team. Their early game hasn’t been amazing, though, so unless that changes, they have no clear advantages over T1.
At the very least, FURIA have some strengths, but it remains to be seen how that’ll translate to a game against a superior team.

Verdict
A 3-0 sweep for T1 is the most likely outcome here, as they’re objectively a superior team to FURIA. With stronger macro and players who are a few tiers above their counterparts.
T1 tend to struggle in games where they fall too far behind early, and FURIA haven’t really proven themselves as an early team. They do well in mid-late game and have solid teamfighting, but ultimately, FURIA do what T1 do, but worse.
Admittedly, T1 haven’t been all that great this tournament, despite holding the tag of one of the main favourites. And since FURIA have nothing to lose, it is not beyond the realms of possibility for them to opt into a hyper-aggressive composition and try to force something.
From a betting perspective, taking some FURIA to take a map is worth a look.
