Arsenal head into their Premier League clash against Brighton in fantastic form, boasting a nine-game winning streak and a solid head-to-head advantage. Brighton, while showing early-season promise, have dropped points recently and face numerous injury concerns, particularly in attack. With Arsenal injury concerns improving and their squad depth evident in recent cup victories, the recommendation is for an away win at the Amex Stadium. Bettors can find value backing the Gunners to continue their dominance against a vulnerable Brighton side.

H2H - Gunners Strength

Arsenal have a 20-8 advantage against Brighton, alongside seven draws.

Brighton Have Dropped Recent Points

Fabian Hurzeler’s Brighton made a promising start to the new season and thrashed Aston Villa 4-0 at the Amex.

That result came before less convincing performances in a 4-3 loss at Chelsea and a 1-1 home draw with Leeds. Brighton allowed over 2XG in both games.

The Seagulls hit back and comfortably beat bottom-of-the-table Coventry 5-0, facing six shots on target.

The Sussex team progressed in the EFL Cup after a 3-2 comeback triumph at Man United. Hurzeler’s side trailed 2-0 after 10 minutes and Charalampos Kostoulas, Pascal Gross and Maxim De Cuyper responded to secure the victory.

Arsenal Dominance Continues

Premier League champions Arsenal are the most in-form team in the top-flight. The Gunners are on a nine-match winning streak in the league, including four successive away victories.

Mikel Arteta’s side are top of the Premier League with 12 points from 12 this season. Arsenal started the campaign with wins over Coventry 3-0, Aston Villa 1-0 and Chelsea 2-1, allowing -1 XG in each match.

The north Londoners extended their winning run by defeating Sunderland 2-0 away. Arteta’s side had 57% possession and goals from Bruno Guimaraes and Bukayo Saka sealed the points.

Arsenal made nine changes for their 4-2 EFL Cup away win at Ipswich on Tuesday. Max Dowman scored a brace and Noni Madueke and Mikel Merino also got on the scoresheet.

Predicted Starting Lineups & Team News

Brighton (4-2-3-1): Bart Verbruggen; Ferdi Kadioglu, Luka Vuskovic, Lewis Dunk, Olivier Boscagli; Pascal Gross, Yasin Ayari; Diego Gomez, Malick Yalcouye, Maxim De Cuyper; Charalampos Kostoulas

Attackers Evan Ferguson, Yankuba Minteh, Karou Mitoma, Stefanos Tzimas, Zadok Yohanna and defender Mats Wieffer are injured.

Full-back Jaouen Hadjam was subbed off with an injury at Man United and is an injury doubt here. Attacker Femi Azeez and defender Michael Svoboda are also unlikely to feature.

Fabian Hurzeler recently gave an update on new signing Azeez and said his fitness will be "assessed day by day"

Arsenal (4-2-3-1): David Raya; Jurrien Timber, Ezri Konsa, Gabriel, Riccardo Calafiori; Declan Rice, Bruno Guimaraes; Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Christos Tzolis; Kai Havertz

Defensive duo Ben White and Piero Hincapie are injury doubts. Centre-backs William Saliba and Cristhian Mosquera are unavailable due to injury.

Jurrien Timber is expected to return to the squad after missing the Ipswich game. Mikel Arteta explained that the defender’s omission was due to fitness and said:

“The other day (vs Sunderland) he had 53 minutes after five months out. We need to look after him.”

Verdict

Brighton have key player injuries and had a tough cup game at Man United on Wednesday. In-form Arsenal can take advantage and there’s value on an away Premier League win.
