It’s been a while since Sarajevo had a good run in their European appearances, plus they are out of competitive rhythm at the moment. Inter Turku are one of the strongest Finnish teams this season and I don’t see them losing at Kosevo Stadium.

Sarajevo kick off the new season under new leadership, Marijo Matanovic being replaced by new head manager Zoran Zekic who led this team before. 

They were not participating in the Premijer Liga title race last season, finishing 3rd behind Borac Banja Luka and Zrinjski Mostar with 19 wins in 36 matches. 

Sarajevo played two pre-season friendlies earlier this month, starting with a 2-1 win over Montenegrin side Sutjeska, while losing the final test to Zrinjski 2-1.

Unlike their upcoming opponents, Inter Turku have been in competitive rhythm for months, collecting 30 points in 15 league games in the Finnish top flight and currently share top of the table with KuPS. 

In their most recent league appearance, they defeated Mariehamn 2-0 away from home, Alie Conteh breaking the deadlock just before the break while he doubled the lead in stoppage time. 

A couple of days later, Inter Turku faced VPS Vaasa in the Finnish Cup semifinals and deservedly won 3-2, having 58% possession and 6-5 shots on target.

Qarabag’s best player from last season Leandro Andrade has made a move to Polissya, but they acquired Bruno Langa, Cebrail Makreckis, Martin Zlomislic and a couple of other solid names. 

Vestri have no reported injuries ahead of this match. Ibrahima Balde is their biggest contributor this season with three goals.
