Calgary go into this immediate rematch on the back of a victory, but having only won six of their 14 games this season.

The Stampeders split their first eight games of the season, and then went into an August bye week on the back of defeats to Toronto, 33-30, and BC Lions, 30-26.

They ended the month on a positive note, beating Hamilton 28-23 at home, only to then start September with consecutive defeats to Edmonton.

Calgary were beaten 38-28 when they hosted the Elks at McMahon Stadium, and then suffered a 53-16 blowout loss on the road when the two teams met again.

The Stampeders did avoid a third straight defeat though, as they downed Ottawa at home last week, 40-38.

Ottawa Redblacks Still Seeking First Win After 13 Games

Ottawa go into this matchup seeking revenge for last week’s loss, and still seeking their first win of the season.

The Redblacks have now lost 13 straight games, but have come painfully close to breaking their duck since the bye week.

They pushed Toronto to the limit on the road a couple of weeks ago, before ultimately falling to a 26-23 defeat to the Argonauts.

Ottawa then helped serve up a thrilling game in Calgary last weekend, only to come out on the losing end, falling 40-38.

Redblacks new quarterback McLeod Bethel-Thompson put on a show though, throwing five touchdown passes in his first start.
