HTH

Barcelona have met PSG on 16 occasions, both teams winning six times alongside four draws.

Six Straight for PSG

Paris Saint-Germain have kept only one clean sheet this season but it hasn’t stopped them winning six consecutive games.

Luis Enrique’s side have sent a big message in the Champions League where they are aiming for three straight titles. They beat Slovan Bratislava 6-1 before a 4-2 victory at Manchester City.

The Parisians are coming off a 3-1 win at Strasbourg to be one of five teams at the top of Ligue 1. They trailed in the closing stages before late goals to Illia Zabarnyi, Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué got it done.

Barca on Fire

Barcelona have won all 11 games this season, scoring an incredible 48 goals. They have been ruthless in the Champions League, winning 5-1 against Feyenoord and 4-1 at Galatasaray.

Hansi Flick’s side have built a five point lead in La Liga where they are on track for a third straight title.

The Catalan club won 5-2 at Real Betis on Saturday. Lamine Yamal opened the scoring but they were pegged back to 3-2 when the hosts were reduced to 10 men, Barca too strong and ending the game with 69% possession and 3.10-1.24 xG.

Predicted Lineups & Team News

PSG (4-3-3) Matvey Safonov; Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho, Nuno Mendes; Warren Zaire-Emery, Vitinha, Fabián Ruiz; Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Nuno Mendes has been dealing with a dead leg but is set to start. Midfielder Senny Mayulu is doubtful.

Maghnes Akliouche might have to settle for a spot on the bench with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia starting on the left-wing.

Barcelona (4-3-3) Joan García; Jules Koundé, Pau Cubarsí, Eric García, João Cancelo; Dani Olmo, Rodri, Pedri; Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Anthony Gordon

Raphinha came off the bench at Betis and could reclaim his starting spot ahead of Gabriel Jesus. Expect Eric García, João Cancelo and Dani Olmo to come back into the starting side.

Andreas Christensen and Roony Bardghji are out but Frenkie de Jong was an unused substitute in Sevilla as he continues his comeback.

Verdict

It’s one of the most anticipated matches in the Champions League and goals are sure to flow in Paris. Barcelona can go toe to toe with PSG and are well placed to maintain their winning streak.
