The upcoming KHL clash between Admiral Vladivostok and Dynamo Moscow promises to be a defensively controlled, low-scoring affair. Recent form and head-to-head stats highlight Dynamo’s defensive solidity and ability to strike first—having opened scoring in four of five games. Admiral, meanwhile, have struggled offensively with just six goals in four matches, making the under 2.5 team goal market appealing. Bettors are recommended to back Under 5.5 total goals, Admiral under 2.5 team goals, and Dynamo Moscow to open the scoring in what should be another tactical showdown.

Admiral Vladivostok vs Dynamo Moscow KHL 2026-27 Predictions & Betting Tips - Dynamo to Strike First

A controlled, low-scoring contest is expected in Vladivostok, making Under 5.5 goals and Admiral under 2.5 team goals the leading selections, while Dynamo Moscow are backed to score first.

These teams met in Moscow earlier this month, with Dynamo winning 2-1 after a shootout. The game remained scoreless until Jordan Weal converted a power play late in the second period, and Admiral managed only three shots on goal across the opening 40 minutes.

Dynamo have since improved defensively, winning three consecutive games and shutting out Severstal in their latest appearance. Admiral have been competitive, but their limited shot production and six goals across four games make another low-scoring contest likely.

The first-goal numbers also favour the visitors. Dynamo have scored first in four of five games, while Admiral have conceded the opener in three of four. Dynamo have also broken the deadlock in each of their last four matches.

  • Dynamo Moscow have produced four Under 5.5 results from five games.
  • Three of Admiral’s four matches have finished Under 5.5.
  • Admiral have scored only six goals across their opening four games.
  • The first meeting finished 2-1 to Dynamo Moscow after a shootout.

Admiral Vladivostok Form

Admiral have one win from four games, losing 2-0 to Ak Bars, 2-1 to Dynamo Moscow after a shootout and 2-1 to Neftekhimik. Their sole victory was an impressive 4-2 result away to CSKA.

That CSKA performance is the obvious warning against the team-total selection, but it remains Admiral’s only game with more than one goal. They produced just one goal across their opening two fixtures and were again held to one by Neftekhimik.

Anthony Camara opened the scoring against Neftekhimik with Admiral’s first shot of the game. However, it remained their only attempt on target for approximately ten minutes, continuing a pattern of limited attacking volume. Nikita Boyarkin kept them competitive in goal, but Admiral were unable to create sustained pressure during the closing stages.

Admiral’s power play has produced goals against Dynamo and Neftekhimik, but their five-on-five attack remains a concern. That makes Admiral under 2.5 team goals the strongest team-specific market.

Dynamo Moscow Form

Dynamo have recovered from consecutive defeats by winning three straight games against Admiral, Dinamo Minsk and Severstal.

Their latest performance was their most complete of the season. Daniil Pylenkov opened the scoring in the fourth minute against Severstal before assisting Dylan Sikura’s power-play goal early in the second period. Vladislav Podyapolsky protected the advantage and recorded Dynamo’s first shutout of the campaign in the 2-0 victory.

Dynamo have scored first in four consecutive matches. That run began in their 5-3 defeat against SKA and continued through all three victories.

The previous meeting also supports the expected game script. Dynamo limited Admiral to two shots during the first period and only one during the second before Weal opened the scoring.

Verdict

Back Under 5.5 goals and Admiral Vladivostok under 2.5 team goals in another defence-led matchup. Dynamo Moscow to score first completes the betting card after the visitors opened the scoring in four of their five games.
