Bet: Neftekhimik to win including OT/shootout

Neftekhimik have won three straight since their opening overtime defeat, beating Sochi 5-1, Avtomobilist 3-1 and Admiral 2-1 while allowing only three goals.

Sibir have been much less convincing, with their latest outing ending in a 5-2 home defeat to Avtomobilist. Neftekhimik are the form team, but taking the OT/shootout protection looks the better option on the road.

Salavat Yulaev Ufa vs Ak Bars Kazan Prediction

Bet: Under 5.5 total goals

Ak Bars have produced four consecutive games with five goals or fewer, including three decided by a single goal.

Salavat's wild 8-6 loss to Barys is the obvious concern, but their other two games finished 3-2 and 4-0. With Ak Bars repeatedly dragging opponents into tight games, Under 5.5 is our preferred Green Derby bet.

Prediction: Under 5.5 goals

HC Sochi vs CSKA Moscow Prediction

Bet: CSKA to win in regulation

CSKA have struggled to a 1-3 start, but their schedule has included Spartak and defending champions Lokomotiv. This represents a significant drop in opposition.

Sochi are 0-3 in regulation and have scored only two goals, losing 5-1, 4-1 and 1-0. CSKA should have enough quality to take advantage and claim the points inside 60 minutes.
