Unai Emery’s Aston Villa are unbeaten in seven consecutive games since a 2-1 home loss against Nottingham Forest.

The Villans have avoided defeat in their last three league games. They beat Tottenham 3-2 and Newcastle 1-0 away either side of a 2-2 home draw against Brentford.

The Birmingham outfit extended their recent unbeaten run with a 3-1 win against Viking in the Champions League. Villa led through Ross Barkley and Emiliano Buendia in the first half and Viking scored an own goal after half time.

Man City Looking Strong at the Top of the Table

Man City are top of the Premier League and the only side with a 100% win record in 2026/27. The Citizens have scored 19 goals in seven games and Erling Haaland has found the net eight times.

City have won all four of their away fixtures this season, including league victories at Palace 4-1, Man United 1-0 and Liverpool. Haaland scored four goals in those three games.

Enzo Maresca’s team maintained their Premier League winning streak with a 3-2 home win over Ipswich on Saturday. Haaland scored twice and City had 3.35 XG.

The Manchester side also thumped AEK Athens 5-1 in the Champions League. City had 2.74 XG, Phil Foden scored a hat-trick and Elliot Anderson and Rayan Cherki got on the scoresheet.
