On paper, this should be a 2-0 stomp for Legacy, a more established team with a few trophies from bigger events. However, while Legacy have accomplished a lot more this season, they are also inconsistent, and their form ahead of PGL Masters Bucharest is lacking.

Nemiga Gaming have not attended many big events, making them somewhat unproven. On the other hand, they are in excellent shape and have some momentum on their side – which plays a factor in their chances of causing an upset on Saturday.

Legacy Are Volatile

Legacy are a bit of an enigma as a team who have been making some serious noise this season, but have also been somewhat volatile and unpredictable.

The Brazilians have won CS Asia Championships and FISSURE Playground #3, while also placing third in the Esports World Cup 2026. All that is impressive, but Legacy have also exited ESL Pro League Season 24 in 12th-14th place and the Thunderpick World Championship in fifth-sixth, with some questionable performances.

Looking back, Legacy are 1-4 from their last five, with one win against PARIVISION and defeats against 1w Team, M80, FURIA, and BetBoom Team. FURIA and BB Team are solid teams, but 1w and M80 are not, so it is hard to feel overly excited about Legacy and their chances of succeeding in Bucharest.

Nemiga Gaming Are In Great Shape

Nemiga Gaming are interesting underdogs for PGL Masters Bucharest. They’ve not featured in many big events this season, but have been playing well in recent months.

Since September, Nemiga have won CIS LAN Championships #7 and NODWIND Clutch Series #12, as well as placed second in Stake Ranked Episode 4 and made the semifinals of CCT Europe Series #10.

Admittedly, those are lower-rated tournaments, where Nemiga didn't have to face many top teams.

That said, Nemiga's roster consists of solid players who are in great form, having won all but three of their last 23 games.

Verdict

Legacy v Nemiga Gaming

Legacy are objectively a better team, who have accomplished a lot more than Nemiga. But they’re also volatile and untrustworthy, and head to Romania in bad shape.

There is a world where Legacy wake up and find traction, but they have to show it to believe it. Qualitatively, Legacy might be the better team, but Nemiga are in much better shape, and with the momentum they’ve gained over the last two months, it is easy to imagine Nemiga troubling the Brazilians on Saturday.
