The Elks boast the joint-best record in the league and arrive with plenty of momentum, and they also blew out the Argonauts when the two teams met on August 15.

Edmonton head to Toronto on a four-game win streak that has secured them a playoff place with a 10-3 record.

The Elks made a strong start to the season as they won six of their first seven games, before stumbling in early August.

They suffered a 28-26 home defeat to defending champions Saskatchewan, before heading to Montreal for a 48-30 loss to the Alouettes.

Edmonton have not lost since though, sparking this four-game surge with a 42-12 demolition of Saturday’s opponents, Toronto.

The Elks followed that up with a 22-19 victory over Winnipeg, before winning back-to-back meetings with Calgary, 38-28 on the road and 53-16 at home.

Toronto Argonauts Have Won 5 Of Previous 7

Toronto go into this matchup having won back-to-back games to improve their record to 7-6, keeping them on course for the postseason.

The Argonauts dug themselves into a hole as they lost four of their first six games, but they have turned things around since the middle of July.

They beat the BC Lions 26-12 on the road and Calgary 33-30 at home, before answering a 42-12 blowout at the hands of Edmonton with a 39-20 win over Hamilton.

Toronto failed to make it back-to-back wins as they were beaten 28-24 in Saskatchewan, but they have responded to that loss.

The Argonauts rebounded with a 37-22 win in Hamilton, before returning home to down Ottawa, 26-23.

Edmonton are arguably the best team in the CFL right now, and they flat out ran over the Argonauts last month.
