The Kansas City Chiefs are heavily favored to secure back-to-back home wins as they face the Indianapolis Colts. The Chiefs impressed in their opener, comfortably defeating Denver with a dominant defense and balanced offense, including a standout performance from Kenneth Walker III. In contrast, the Colts struggled defensively, conceding 41 points and 506 yards to Baltimore, and found little success offensively outside of Jonathan Taylor. The key recommendation is to back Kansas City to cover, given their current form and the Colts' road struggles.

Kansas City are tipped to cover as they win back-to-back home games to start the season.

The Chiefs defense is unlikely to have many problems shutting down the Colts, while the offense can enjoy plenty of success against an Indy defense that got gashed by the Ravens.

Indianapolis Colts Lost To Ravens In Week 1

Indianapolis head out on the road having suffered a blowout defeat in their opening game at home.

The Colts gave up 31 points in the first half and a total of 506 yards as they lost 41-23 to Baltimore at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Daniel Jones went 19/31 for just 166 yards, one touchdown and one interception, with Alex Pierce his leading receiver with 61 yards off four catches.

Jonathan Taylor was the only bright spot on offense as he ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns, while also turning three catches into another 23 yards.

Tyler Warren did find the endzone for Indianapolis, but was limited to just 13 yards off three receptions.

Kansas City Chiefs Seeking Back-To-Back Victories

Kansas City will be looking to build on last week’s one-sided home win over division rivals Denver.

The Chiefs offense put up 31 points with Patrick Mahomes back at the controls, while the defense held the Broncos to only 176 total yards and 10 points.

Mahomes went 15/27 for 184 yards, two touchdowns and an interception, while also rushing for 23 yards and a score.

Travis Kelce finished the game with 71 yards off three receptions, but the offense’s biggest contributor was running back Kenneth Walker III.

Walker III – who joined from Seattle in the offseason – ran for 173 yards and a touchdown, while also turning three catches into 18 yards and a score.

Verdict

Kansas City looked sharp on both sides of the football in Week 1, and now they get to face an Indianapolis team that struggled on defense and offered little outside of Jonathan Taylor on offense.

This is a great opportunity for the Chiefs to go 2-0, and we are backing them to do just that.
