Ninjas in Pyjamas haven’t been having the most successful season. Since winning Stake Ranked Episode 2 in May, they’ve managed just one more top-three tournament finish, in July, when NiP secured a bronze medal from Stake Ranked Episode 3.

They featured at the Esports World Cup, but did not make it far, with one upset victory against BetBoom Team and defeats against Legacy and Astralis.

NiP showed some fight against Astralis and forced a map three, but results since have been lacking, as Ninjas in Pyjamas have managed only three wins from eight games. That stretch includes losses against Fnatic, SINNERS, FOKUS, Inner Circle, and 1win.

In a bid to find more success, Ninjas in Pyjamas have made some roster changes. Earlier this month, they acquired in-game leader Krimbo and, more recently, re-signed adamb. This, however, doesn’t move the needle too much.

M80 Are Showing Signs of Life

M80 enter Logitech G Play Connect 2026 following a ninth-12th place finish at BLAST Open Fall, where they upset Natus Vincere, but lost the next two games against FURIA and Aurora Gaming.

Prior to BLAST Open Fall, M80 also attended the Esports World Cup and BLAST Bounty Summer, yet did not win a single game, with defeats against Ninjas in Pyjamas (0-2), G2 Esports (11-13), and Aurora Gaming (0-2).

Despite struggling in bigger events, M80 have looked much better over the last week, at Roman Imperium Cup VIII, where they defeated 6666, Iberian Soul (twice), and Luminosity Gaming in the grand final.

With that run, M80 have gained some momentum, which is nothing to sneeze at. However, qualitatively, they remain at about the same level as NiP.
